The scope of the Hi gh Voltage Laboratory / School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technica l Unive rsity of Athens activities includes:
• Various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of High Voltage applications, as part of the educational program of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.
• Organizing seminars, symposiums, conferences and lectures, authoring and co-authoring research publications.
• The participation in joint efforts and consortiums with research centers, institutes and academic institutions, in Greece and abroad, aiming at the expansion of its academic activities.
• The cooperation with state services, municipalities and other social and scientific institutes, contributing to the domestic development research and facing the challenges of the modern technological achievements.
• ISO/IEC 17025 accredited tests and measurements:
• The High Voltage Laboratory is participating very actively in the whole spectrum of electric measurements and tests, extending its scope of
expertise beyond High Voltage applications.
• For the last 11 years, the High Voltage Laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 for a large variety of electric and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests and measurements,
associated with most of the modern commercial and industrial Products Standards, continuously investing in the up-to-date scientific training of the personnel and monitoring the ever-changing
requirements of International, European and National Standardization.
