SEPHY was founded in 1996 initially called “Hellenic Association of Electrical Product Manufacturers” and consists of Greek manufacturing companies producing electrical and electronic equipment.
Its main objective has always been to support entrepreneurship and competitiveness, as well as to ensure the quality and safety of Greek electrical products.

In this direction, information and guidance is offered to its members and anyone interested in product certification and inspection. At the same time, the association provides assistance to the Greek Ministry of Development and Investments and the General Secretariat for Commerce, regarding the adoption and implementation of European guidelines and monitoring of the Greek market, in an effort to ensure that the electrical and electronics products on sale are safe, certified and compliant.

To establish the prestige of the electrical and electronics material produced in Greece against those which are falsely labeled as “Greek”, SEPHY has recently launched the associates’ trademark which actually certifies the Greek identity of its members’ products after a series of procedures and on-site inspections.

Any product bearing the associates’ trademark is:

• Made in Greece.
• Of top quality, as a result of years of experience and know-how.
• Safe to use, certified and fully compliant with the European technical and safety standards.
• Competitive due to its excellent value-for-money ratio.

Products bearing the SEPHY associates’ trademark can be bought from authorized retailers.
