FOTOKIKLOSI SA is a National compliance scheme for Waste of Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specializing in Lamps - Luminaires and Small Household Appliances, approved by the Greek Ministry of the Environment, to coordinate all the stages of WEEE Management, which include collection, transport and treatment to protect the environment under the European WEEE Directive.
FOTOKIKLOSI SA functions as a non-profit organization. More than 310 member-companies that produce or import electrical and electronic equipment in Greece participate in our scheme and pay the legally required contribution to finance the recycling costs.
Each year through the System:

a) Are collected and treated properly more than:
• 350 tons of lamps
• 1,600 tons of luminaires/Small Household Appliances
Through a 7,500 nationwide collection point network (Local Authorities, Municipalities, Supermarkets, Industry, Retailers, etc.), paying particular attention to the hundreds of Islands in the country.
b) Is raised awareness to more than:
• 15,000 students
• 25,000 consumers

Through educational and information programs for the protection of the environment and the benefits of proper treatment of WEEE, motivating them to involve in the “Recycling” chain.
